York and St Helens to meet in Women’s Challenge Cup final
York City Knights and St Helens booked their place in next month’s Women’s Challenge Cup final after an exciting double-header at the LNER Stadium.
Their progression means a new name will be on the trophy, after defending champions Leeds were knocked out in the day’s second semi-final.
Before then, York, coached by former Castleford boss Lindsay Anfield, ran out comfortable 32-4 winners against the Tigers on home soil, with 21-year-old Savannah Andrade – who only joined the club two weeks ago – scoring an excellent hat-trick.
👏 Hat-trick hero Savannah Andrade!
