York move for Jack Blagbrough
York have signed forward Jack Blagbrough from Leigh.
Blagbrough, 24, had signed a three-year deal with the Centurions ahead of the 2018 season, but their well documented problems has seen him move on.
He played on loan with the City Knights back in 2015, making 11 appearances.
Coach James Ford said: “Jack has the potential and the drive to become a really good rugby player. He’s good in contact and has a good attitude towards the defensive side of the game.
“I’d like to thank the supporters and sponsors once again for backing the club so effectively making signings like this possible.”
Blagbrough came through the Huddersfield academy and made his Super League debut against Bradford back in 2013.
He has also played for Sheffield and Mackay Cutters in the Intrust Super Cup.
