Zeb Taia out of action for six weeks
St Helens forward Zeb Taia has been ruled out for around six weeks with a dislocated shoulder.
The 34-year-old suffered a disclosed shoulder in last week’s 36-10 win over Leeds.
Taia was involved in a clash with Rhinos prop Mikolaj Oledzki and left the action, with scans now revealing that he will miss the next six weeks.
The Cook Islands international is set to miss Saints’ upcoming games against Warrington, Hull FC, Wigan, London, Halifax and Wakefield.
Saints are hopeful Taia will be back for their away clash against neighbours Warrington on August 9.
Mark Percival was also taken off against Leeds with a tight hamstring but that was only precautionary.
